When it comes to wildfires, ‘We’re all in the same boat’

When the wildfires started, most of the country was already experiencing a major blizzard.

But for those who live in the middle of the Great Plains, there was no such thing as a snow storm.

When the National Guard was called in to help, they had to be prepared to face an army of wildfires.

As the fires burned, the Army Corps of Engineers began the first of what would be a series of blizzard events.
